P. Johnson Introduces Men’s Chapter I for AW26

P. Johnson has introduced Men’s Chapter I, its first ready-to-wear collection designed specifically around the Autumn/Winter season. It marks another step for the Australian-founded tailoring house, which has spent more than a decade building a following through its Soho and New York showrooms, US trunk shows and made-to-measure business.

The London operation moved to Old Burlington Street, Mayfair, in February 2026, bringing P. Johnson into a considerably more prominent setting while maintaining the brand’s emphasis on personal wardrobe building.

For AW26, Founder and Creative Director Patrick Johnson turns his attention to a cooler-weather wardrobe that sits somewhere between traditional tailoring and the more relaxed attitude of contemporary menswear.

The collection includes mock-neck cashmere knits, Australian merino quarter-zips and polos, alongside Italian silk-cotton shirting. The Bonnard brings a darker, more luxurious proposition, while the Willis uses compact twill. The Alby pushes further into workwear territory in Egyptian long-staple cotton denim, with generous chest pockets and considered hand-finished details.

P. Johnson’s Slack Suit returns in soft Italian corduroy, offering a less formal alternative to the brand’s custom tailoring without losing its relationship with tailoring.

Outerwear is where the collection becomes more assertive. The Campagna comes in leather, alongside a lightweight padded version in washed-effect technical fabric from Florence. The Senna is a suede driving jacket with a blouson shape, while the Slade takes the form of an unstructured double-breasted overcoat in baby Bactrian camel or navy cashmere.

There is also the Rambler, an army-green silk-cotton jacket, and two new Italian-made organic cotton denim styles: the relaxed Bruce and the more pronounced Sonny.

The collection is available globally through P. Johnson, as well as the brand’s London and New York showrooms.
