Octobre Éditions Turns 10: The Parisian Menswear Label’s Story So Far

Octobre Éditions turns 10 this October, marking a decade since Morgane Sézalory launched the Parisian menswear label following the success of her womenswear brand, Sézane.

Founded in 2016 around a straightforward approach to menswear – quality materials, considered construction and attention to detail – Octobre has since established a distinct position between contemporary French style and traditional tailoring.

The anniversary is being marked with a limited-edition collection revisiting four of the brand’s established styles, produced using fabrics sourced from some of Europe and Japan’s recognised textile manufacturers.

A coat is made from 100% wool Harris Tweed from Scotland, while a raw denim jean uses fabric from Japanese mill Kurabo. The Riddle jacket and Carl trousers are cut from 100% Piedmontese wool produced by Italian mill Vitale Barberis Canonico.

The collection also reflects the collaborative side of Octobre’s decade, which has included partnerships with names including '47, Schott NYC and Mercer Amsterdam.

There is a distinctly British element to the anniversary story, too. The UK is now Octobre’s third-largest market, accounting for 11% of sales, with double-digit growth recorded in 2025. More than 7,000 Will jackets have been sold in Britain, from more than 88,000 worldwide over the past decade.

The label’s growing visibility among British menswear consumers has also been reflected by its association with actors including Callum Turner, who has been photographed wearing Octobre throughout the summer.

For the anniversary campaign, Octobre has worked with Lucas Bravo, the French actor known for Emily in Paris. The film was shot at Hôtel Rochechouart in Paris, with Bravo’s existing relationship with the brand making him a natural choice for the project.

Ten years in, Octobre’s proposition remains centred on familiar menswear staples, but the anniversary collection gives those pieces a useful reason to look again.
