Lacoste Enters Padel With Its First Dedicated Collection

Lacoste is moving into padel with its first complete collection dedicated to the sport, bringing together two rackets, footwear, a bag and a technical wardrobe designed to cover the game from court to clubhouse.

The collection centres on two rackets developed with Tecnifibre. The L.MAX, aimed at regular players, uses X-Speed technology to improve airflow through its hole pattern, alongside X-Top for impact resistance and Spin Skin 3D for increased ball grip and spin.

The lighter L.SOFT is intended for beginners and improving players, combining X-Top and Spin Skin 3D with a more forgiving, easy-handling format.

The clothing follows the same performance-led approach. Technical T-shirts, shorts and socks are joined by the AGLT Ultra shoes and a dedicated padel bag, with materials selected for breathability, movement and comfort. It is a complete wardrobe rather than a racket launch with a few branded extras.

For Lacoste, padel also fits neatly into its sporting history. Founded by tennis champion René Lacoste, the brand has spent decades operating where performance and clothing overlap. Padel extends that proposition into a sport that has developed a particularly strong social culture, with doubles play and clubs forming an important part of its appeal.

The collection launches across Lacoste’s European retail network on 24 September.

Prices: L.MAX €349.99; L.SOFT €249.99; bag €149.99; shorts €65; T-shirt €70; socks €30; AGLT Ultra shoes €150.
