M&S Menswear Autumn Winter 2026: A More Considered Approach to the New Season

Marks & Spencer’s Autumn Winter 2026 menswear collection arrives with a clear focus on the clothes men actually need: strong outerwear, useful tailoring, better knitwear and pieces that can move between work, weekends and evenings.

Out now, the collection spans M&S Collection, Autograph, Smart Edit, Formal, Sartorial, Party, Goodmove and Jaeger, with 82% of the Autumn collection priced under £50.

M&S Collection takes familiar menswear staples and gives them a contemporary update. Denim, argyle knitwear and lace-up boots sit alongside preppy references, sporty details, textured outerwear and graphic patterns. The colour story moves through brown, burgundy and gold, balanced by neutral tones.

Autograph takes a more technical approach, pairing performance suiting with merino layers, practical outerwear and travel-focused pieces. Printed shirts and leather bags extend the range into evening dressing.

For smarter occasions, Smart Edit relaxes the rules around tailoring. Softly structured blazers, striped shirts, knitwear and suede loafers are built around tobacco, chestnut, blue and green. Formal and Sartorial take a more traditional route, with textured wool, herringbone, Egyptian cotton shirting, checks and classic footwear.

Party dressing brings velvet blazers into the mix, while Jaeger looks to British countryside dressing through flannel, peacoats, tonal knitwear and oxblood Chelsea boots before shifting towards eveningwear with velvet smoking jackets.

Goodmove rounds things out with technical layers, showerproof finishes, moisture-wicking fabrics and UPF protection.

It is a broad proposition, but the menswear logic is straightforward: build around dependable clothes, then give them enough variation to keep the wardrobe moving.
