Onitsuka Tiger Opens Paris Flagship on the Champs-Élysées

Onitsuka Tiger has officially landed in Paris with the unveiling of its new global flagship store on the Champs-Élysées. More than just a retail destination, the two-story space is a full-throttle expression of the brand’s evolution—bridging the legacy of Japanese craftsmanship with the high-octane pulse of European fashion.

Long synonymous with retro-inspired sneakers and technical silhouettes, Onitsuka Tiger has grown up. Over the past few years, the brand’s menswear offering has sharpened its focus—walking the line between utility and style, nostalgia and future-facing cool. The Paris flagship cements that narrative. Architecturally led by STUDIODINICATALDI, the store embodies the Yellow Concept: a bold, directional design language that leans heavily into the label’s signature hue. It’s not shy. It’s not supposed to be.

From the outside, the façade is elegant and in keeping with the 19th-century charm of The Travellers Paris, the private house that previously occupied the address. Step inside, though, and you’re met with a striking contrast: raw concrete, sleek surfaces, and a floor-to-ceiling centrepiece glowing in yellow-tinted glass, displaying Onitsuka Tiger’s latest runway looks. The store doesn’t just sell menswear—it frames it like modern art.

Menswear here spans a thoughtful balance between elevated streetwear and contemporary tailoring. Think oversized technical outerwear, sharply cut silhouettes, and Japan-made DENIVITA™ denim that feels built for longevity but styled for now. Footwear, of course, still leads the charge—trainers that manage to nod to track-and-field heritage while holding their own alongside any high-fashion sneaker drop.

The in-store experience is curated to engage beyond just shopping. There’s the addition of Café Onitsuka Tiger on the ground floor, where coffee meets concept. Japanese-inspired drinks, Parisian pastries, and slick minimalist packaging turn the café into an extension of the lifestyle Onitsuka Tiger is quietly (but confidently) building.
