TDR AW26: West London’s Menswear Obsession Expands Into Unisex Territory

West London label TDR enters AW26 with a broader proposition: premium menswear essentials informed by military archives, Japanese textiles, vintage denim and specialist manufacturing. For the first time, the collection is also produced in smaller unisex sizes for women.

Founded by The Garbstore’s Ian Paley, TDR operates less like a conventional seasonal label and more like an ongoing study of clothing. Its references range from heavily worn military garments to globally sourced vintage denim, with construction and material choice doing much of the talking. AW26 shifts away from SS26’s brighter palette towards muted, versatile tones, while pushing further into textile development. The Cordura Balmacaan combines combat wool panelling with recycled nylon, raglan sleeves and corozo nut buttons. It comes either lined with recycled Japanese Primaloft filling or unlined.

Denim remains central. The Coverall Removed Jacket uses 11oz Japanese denim woven in Hiroshima, cut with a longer chore-jacket line and finished with vintage laurel studs, hand distressing and repairs. The Jungle Repair Pant takes its cue from vintage fatigue trousers. Its green version uses pigment-dyed Japanese stretchback satin, while the navy iteration employs Japanese French-worker-style serge.

AW26 also introduces TDR’s first knit accessories. Fisherman’s-rib beanies and scarves are produced seamlessly on Shima Seiki machines in Scotland from 100% Lamine Superfine British Landswool.
