Abercrombie & Fitch Returns to New York with 'Denim Made Iconic' for Fall 2026

Abercrombie & Fitch is looking to its past to define the future of its denim. The American brand's new Fall 2026 campaign, Denim Made Iconic, revisits its New York heritage with a cast spanning fashion and professional sport, while introducing an expanded collection designed to reflect the way men actually wear denim today.

Shot by New York photographer Cass Bird across recognisable city backdrops including SoHo and the subway, the campaign features Emily Ratajkowski, Paloma Elsesser and New York Giants players Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers. The result feels distinctly New York without leaning too heavily on nostalgia, instead presenting the city as a backdrop for contemporary style.

For men, the collection centres on relaxed silhouettes that continue the industry's move away from skinny fits. An updated Relaxed Straight jean joins a new baggier fit, both cut with comfort and versatility in mind rather than trend chasing. New garment-dyed denim introduces softer handle and richer colour, giving the jeans a more lived-in appearance straight off the rail.

The launch forms part of Abercrombie's continued repositioning as a premium casualwear destination. Denim has become one of the brand's strongest categories in recent years, and this collection builds on that momentum with 120 styles available across men's and women's ranges, offered in multiple lengths and an inclusive size range.

"Our heritage has always sat at the intersection of fashion, sport and culture," says Corey Robinson, Brand President of Abercrombie & Fitch. "With denim being a core staple of every fall wardrobe, we want to offer silhouettes for all occasions."

That philosophy is reflected throughout the men's collection. Rather than offering a single signature fit, Abercrombie is recognising that modern wardrobes demand variety. Relaxed denim works just as comfortably with loafers and knitwear as it does with trainers and a heavyweight hoodie, making these styles as relevant for smarter weekend dressing as they are for everyday wear.

With Denim Made Iconic, Abercrombie isn't attempting to reinvent denim. Instead, it is refining the essentials, pairing contemporary fits with improved fabrics and reminding consumers why New York remains one of fashion's most enduring style references.
