NN.07 and Fracap Return With a Refined Take on the Modern Hiker
NN.07 and Fracap are back with their second collaboration — a meeting of Copenhagen cool and Italian craftsmanship that feels perfectly timed for the shift into winter. At the heart of the drop is the M121 shoe, a luxurious yet functional hybrid that balances Scandinavian minimalism with generations of Puglian shoemaking tradition.
The partnership, which began last year, continues to explore how timeless craftsmanship can coexist with modern design. This latest release showcases two new colourways of the M121, each handcrafted at Fracap’s historic workshop in Monteroni, Puglia. Run by the Capelli brothers, the brand has been producing shoes there since 1908, a family operation rooted in care, precision and a quiet kind of artistry.
The shoe itself embodies everything both labels stand for — purpose-driven design, premium materials and enduring quality. Each pair sits atop a waterproof Vibram commando sole, prized for its durability and flexibility, making it as capable on city pavements as it is on countryside trails. The upper, cut from supple Italian suede, feels deliberately understated, allowing texture and construction to do the talking.
As collaborations go, this one has depth. NN.07 — short for No Nationality — has built its reputation on crafting pieces that transcend borders, blending classic tailoring with everyday functionality. Fracap, meanwhile, brings over a century of shoemaking heritage to the table. The result is a boot that sits comfortably between modern luxury and utilitarian practicality — the sort of piece that looks as natural paired with wool trousers as it does with raw denim.
There’s a shared philosophy running through both brands: a respect for detail and the idea that longevity is the ultimate luxury. In a fashion landscape often dominated by quick-turn trends, the NN.07 + Fracap M121 stands out for its restraint and authenticity — the kind of shoe designed to age well, wear better and last far beyond a single season.
Available from October 23rd on NN07.com, at the brand’s London flagship on Earlham Street, and through select retailers worldwide, the M121 is priced at £280.
