Kith for Columbia NSE: Winter Gear, Sharpened
Kith and Columbia Sportswear are back at it, reprising their long-running collaboration with a winter-focused capsule that leans hard into performance while keeping its footing firmly in the style conversation. Titled Nippon Snow Expedition, the collection looks to Japan’s alpine landscapes—Hokkaido, Mount Yōtei, and beyond—as a visual and technical reference point, filtered through Kith’s distinct design lens.
At the core is outerwear that takes Columbia’s proven mountain tech and dresses it with Kith’s eye for detail. The standout 3L Ski Interchange™ Jacket arrives as a considered two-layer system: a waterproof, seam-sealed shell built with real-world ski functionality, paired with a reversible insulated liner that works just as well off the slopes. Matching 2L Ski Pants and a Ski Bib complete the uniform, featuring Omni-Tech waterproofing and Kith-monogrammed Omni-Heat™ Infinity lining—technical, but never clinical.
Elsewhere, familiar Kith silhouettes get a winterised refresh. The Sherpa Harper Jacket appears in landscape and ice-dye treatments, while the Wyona Sweater is reworked in a technical knit. Nelson hoodies, vintage tees and loungewear round things out, all subtly co-branded and easy to fold into a cold-weather wardrobe that doesn’t scream “ski trip.”
Footwear comes via a winterised take on the Newton Alpine boot, built from Columbia’s Newton Ridge™ DNA. Shearling lining, OutDry™ protection and a rugged Omni-MAX™ outsole make it genuinely slope-ready, while hairy suede and nubuck uppers keep it firmly in lifestyle territory.
Accessories follow suit, from practical duffles and backpacks to Oakley-made helmets, goggles and sunglasses exclusive to the collaboration. It’s a comprehensive offering, but one that feels edited rather than excessive.
