Our Place’s Wonder Oven Pro Brings Eight Cooking Functions to the Countertop
A countertop oven is only worth the space it occupies if it can do more than reheat yesterday’s dinner. Our Place is making that argument with the Wonder Oven Pro, an upgraded version of its bestselling air fryer oven that arrives in the UK with a 30-litre capacity, digital controls and eight cooking functions.
Available now, priced at £295, the Wonder Oven Pro is designed to handle everything from weekday meals to more ambitious weekend cooking. Its expanded functionality adds Proof and Dehydrate modes to the original Wonder Oven’s six cooking functions: Air Fry, Bake, Roast, Toast, Grill and Reheat.
The digital control panel is the most obvious upgrade. Precise time and temperature settings replace guesswork, while a newly engineered heating system combines quartz and stainless-steel heating elements with an optimised convection fan. Our Place claims the oven preheats 60% faster and cooks food up to 40% faster than a traditional oven, based on its specified internal testing comparisons.
The 30-litre capacity makes this more than a compact appliance for one. Three rack positions allow multiple dishes to cook simultaneously, with enough room for a whole chicken, roast potatoes and the kind of Sunday lunch that normally demands considerably more kitchen real estate. It also covers the less glamorous but arguably more frequent jobs: toast in the morning, reheating leftovers and getting dinner on the table without switching on a full-sized oven.
Steam infusion is another significant addition. The technology introduces moisture during cooking or reheating, aiming to preserve tenderness while allowing the exterior to crisp. For anyone who has experienced the particular disappointment of rubbery reheated pizza or dried-out leftovers, that distinction matters.
The Proof function extends the oven’s appeal to home bakers, providing a dedicated setting for dough fermentation, while Dehydrate opens up possibilities for dried fruit and other ingredients. Neither is an essential feature for every household, but both broaden the appliance’s usefulness beyond the usual air-fryer repertoire.
Materials are another consideration. The interior and food-contact accessories are made without PFAS, including PTFE and PFOA, chemicals commonly associated with non-stick coatings. The oven comes with an air-fryer basket, bake pan, wire racks and crumb tray, and is covered by a one-year guarantee with a 100-day trial period.
Our Place, co-founded by Shiza Shahid, has built its reputation around cookware that treats design as part of the product rather than an afterthought. The Wonder Oven Pro continues that approach, arriving in Blue Salt, Char and Cream. The palette is restrained enough to sit comfortably on a kitchen worktop without making the appliance look like another piece of industrial equipment.
Two accessory collections, the Baker’s Kit and Chef’s Kit, launch alongside the oven, extending its capabilities further. The additional options make sense for those who intend to use the appliance regularly, although the £295 starting price already places it in a category where performance needs to justify the investment.
The Wonder Oven Pro is available from Our Place’s UK website and selected retailers, including Selfridges, Harrods and Fenwick. For men who take their kitchens as seriously as their wardrobes, it offers a practical proposition: more cooking options, greater control and a design that doesn't need to be hidden away in a cupboard.
