Kaana’s New Supper Club Offers a Different Kind of Thursday Night in London

London’s Holborn has a new option for Thursday evenings that doesn’t involve another round at the bar. Kaana, the modern Indian eatery known for its lunch offering, is launching a monthly Supper Club on 26 November, bringing its food to the table in a three-course format.

Hosted by founder Symron Mehan Bedi on the last Thursday of each month, the Supper Club takes Kaana’s everyday cooking out of the grab-and-go lunch routine and into a more leisurely, shared experience. The idea is rooted in Bedi’s grandmother’s cooking and Kaana’s approach to Indian food: a little of everything, made in-house with whole ingredients.

Guests begin with masala chai, followed by a trio of chickpea chaat reworked for the occasion. The main course is a thali featuring Kaana favourites, including Turmeric Coconut Dal and Honey Masala Chicken, with sauces and accompaniments designed for sharing. Banana bread bites, created specifically for the Supper Club, finish the meal.

The format offers a different way to experience Kaana’s menu, moving from the quick lunch that has made it a City favourite to an evening built around sitting down and eating together. It also gives the restaurant a new role in Holborn’s after-work scene, where Thursday nights are often geared towards drinks rather than dinner.

“Kaana is, and will stay, a place where you can grab a lunch that’s full of flavour in a few minutes,” says Bedi. “Our Supper Club isn't a step away from that, but a chance to bring people together to share the food we cook every day, served in a completely different way.”

The first Kaana Supper Club takes place on Thursday 26 November 2026, with tickets priced at £39.
