WHISTLES MENSWEAR S/S '15
For the second menswear outing at Whistles, the brand has opted for an exploration of bold prints and innovative textures.
Traditional sportswear is a clear influence, with the shape of many pieces having an athletic feel. The modern and defined navy blue colour palette is mixed with muted pastels in spring appropriate shades like lilac and peach. Subtle prints are a welcome way to mix things up.
The sportswear influence continues into knitwear with a bonded hoody in a pale blue and indigo dyed sweats both deserving special mention.
One of the strongest features of the debut collection, the outerwear is again a highlight of the spring range. This season, there is a development of classic pieces with the brush stroke cagoule, cross check Harrington, unlined bomber jacket and bonded jersey windbreaker.
New categories for spring include summer printed swimwear and suede espadrille style footwear.
