Timberland x Jacquemus Give the Authentic Boat Shoe a Croc Makeover

Timberland and Jacquemus are back together, this time giving the Authentic Boat Shoe a crocodile-embossed finish. The latest release takes the American brand’s outdoor classic into more fashion-conscious territory without tampering with the silhouette that has made it a fixture since 1978.

Available in Brown Croc and Navy Croc, the limited-edition collaboration swaps smooth leather for embossed Premium Timberland leather. The texture does the heavy lifting, bringing the codes of luxury leather goods to a shoe traditionally associated with sailing, summer wardrobes and practical dressing.

The original details remain intact: a rugged rubber outsole, soft leather lining and padded collar. A tonal tree logo and bespoke branded aglets provide the finishing touches, while the embossed surface gives the familiar boat shoe a sharper, more distinctive identity.

For Jacquemus, the collaboration offers another opportunity to revisit an established menswear staple through a contemporary design lens. For Timberland, it puts a different complexion on a shoe whose appeal has always rested on function and longevity.
