Jaeger AW26: David Gandy Fronts the Next Chapter of British Menswear
Jaeger is introducing a new signature for Autumn/Winter 2026, with David Gandy fronting a collection built around British heritage, considered tailoring and a new house check.
Inspired by an archival Jaeger scarf, the Jaeger Check makes its debut this season, reworking a piece of the brand’s history into a contemporary design code. It appears alongside a wardrobe of modern classics that prioritises fabric and cut over unnecessary detail.
The collection focuses on the pieces that earn their place in a man's wardrobe: a leather Harrington jacket, a wool-cashmere coat, premium cashmere knitwear and merino-silk layers. Italian wool fabrics and expertly cut outerwear underpin a tailoring offer designed to work beyond formal occasions.
Gandy, whose own style has long favoured sharp tailoring and understated dressing, fronts the campaign, bringing a familiar face to Jaeger's latest direction.
For AW26, the proposition is straightforward: investment outerwear, elevated knitwear and contemporary tailoring, with the Jaeger Check providing a recognisable thread through the collection. It’s a move towards a more defined house identity, grounded in the materials and silhouettes that have long shaped British menswear.
