DUKE + DEXTER STEPS INTO SHARPER TERRITORY WITH THE CAINE LOAFER

Duke + Dexter introduces the Caine Loafer, a deliberate move towards a more formal silhouette without abandoning its comfort-led foundations.

Designed in-house and handmade in Europe, the Caine refines the traditional European loafer into a slimmer, elongated profile. It signals a shift in tone for the brand: less off-duty, more considered, but still anchored in ease. The design process starts with hand-drawn sole outlines, side profiles and cross-sections, used to define and refine the last before construction. Italian leather is then stretched and tacked through a traditional lasting process, allowing the upper to naturally mould to the shoe’s form rather than forcing structure onto it.

For the first time in Duke + Dexter’s loafer range, the Caine is finished with a leather sole. It’s paired with a TPU heel for durability and laser-engraved with the brand’s Snake motif. Inside, a printed in-sock softens wear while carrying subtle branding detail.

The result is a sharper, more disciplined loafer that still understands how it needs to feel on foot. Available now in black leather, brown leather and brown suede.
