Saatchi Gallery at 40 – The Long Now | 5 November 2025 onward
From 5 November the Saatchi Gallery marks its fortieth anniversary with The Long Now: Saatchi Gallery at 40, a “greatest hits” retrospective of its most influential exhibitions. IIt delivers a thoughtful moment in art-and-culture.
Thomasina Miers at Carousel | 11–14 November
Bringing the warmth and vibrancy of Mexico to Marylebone, Thomasina Miers takes over the Carousel residency kitchen for four nights of joyful cooking inspired by her new cookbook Mexican Table. Expect dishes full of bold, soulful flavours – from white bean aioli with charred jalapeño oil to braised venison with pasilla and prune mole, rounded off with pumpkin doughnuts dusted in cinnamon and orange sugar. A perfect antidote to the November chill.
The Line of Beauty | Almeida Theatre | Until 29 November
Alan Hollinghurst’s The Line of Beauty makes its long-awaited stage debut under the direction of Tony Award-winner Michael Grandage. Set in Thatcher’s Britain, it follows Nick Guest’s intoxicating ascent into a world of power, privilege, and desire. Jack Holden’s adaptation is sharp, sensual, and steeped in the politics of beauty — an essential watch for the season.
For one day only, Michelin-starred Cycene welcomes Copenhagen’s Bo Bech for a 16-seat culinary collaboration. The pairing of Bech’s poetic, ingredient-led cooking with chef Taz Sarhane’s North African influences will make for a deeply intimate experience. Expect a menu that celebrates simplicity, creativity, and craftsmanship — paired with English sparkling wine and served in the minimalist elegance of Blue Mountain School.
Drake & Morgan Thanksgiving Menu
11–27 November — Bringing a taste of Americana to the capital, Drake & Morgan celebrates Thanksgiving with a limited-edition menu and festive cocktails across its stylish London bars and restaurants. From The Parlour in Canary Wharf to The Anthologist in Moorgate and Drake & Morgan King’s Cross, guests can enjoy a four-course feast, indulgent dessert-inspired drinks, and private dining options — perfect for a Friendsgiving brunch, corporate dinner or late-night celebration.
Shake Shack x Fortnum & Mason
From 5 November – 6 January — In a meeting of American indulgence and British tradition, Shake Shack and Fortnum & Mason unveil a festive collaboration that reimagines holiday comfort. The limited-edition drinks menu includes the Merrilossus Shake — a Fortnum’s biscuit milk tea with cranberry swirl — and the Christmas Cranberry Fifty/Fifty, a tart lemonade infused with spiced Christmas tea. A first-of-its-kind union between two icons of hospitality, available at all UK Shake Shack locations this season.
Fortnum & Mason x Charlie Mackesy | Until 4 January
The beloved author and illustrator behind The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse brings his tender world to Fortnum & Mason’s Parlour this autumn. Mackesy’s hand-drawn characters adorn the walls, while a new limited-edition menu channels the book’s gentle charm. The highlight? The Mole Cake — a three-tiered strawberry and cream sponge that’s as delightful as it is nostalgic. Every purchase donates £1 to Centrepoint, blending sweetness with substance.
Cecil Beaton’s Fashionable World | National Portrait Gallery | Until 11 January 2026

La Petite Maison | Tomatini Day | 12 November
Raise a glass to La Petite Maison’s Tomatini Day, returning for its second year with Riviera flair. On 12 November, guests at all LPM restaurants will receive a complimentary Tomatini — the now-iconic cocktail of Ketel One Vodka, Campari tomatoes, balsamic, and spice. This year marks its 15th anniversary, celebrating the drink that helped redefine the savoury cocktail movement.
From November — Soho favourite Rita’s has introduced a new weekly rotating set lunch menu, served Wednesday to Saturday. Curated by Gabriel Pryce and Missy Flynn, the £27 menu captures the restaurant’s signature warmth and laid-back charm, spotlighting seasonal produce from small farms like Allwood, Aweside and Flourish. Expect thoughtful, ingredient-led dishes such as fennel and citrus salad, fried chicken with mash and gravy, and ancho chile poached pear with crème fraîche — the kind of lunch that easily stretches into afternoon.
#CookForPalestine Supper Club at Akub
25 November
For its final Supper Club of the year, Akub in Notting Hill welcomes Syrian chef Kinan Mansour to join Fadi Kattan for a special #CookForPalestine dinner. The £90 sharing-style menu celebrates the culinary kinship of Palestine and Syria with dishes such as vine leaves stuffed with Nabulsi cheese, butternut squash with pomegranate molasses, and lamb cutlets with herbed freekeh. Twenty percent of proceeds will support humanitarian work in Gaza, continuing Akub’s commitment to food as both culture and community.
