WHAT’S ON | MARCH 2026

March sharpens the city’s edge. Restaurants lean into collaboration, bars host international heavyweights, and galleries fold art into unexpected spaces. From Soho dining rooms doubling as exhibition venues to one-night-only chef residencies and serious new hotel openings, this month’s agenda is less about spectacle and more about intent. Here’s where to book, drink, see and stay.

PATRICK H. JONES AT RITA’S SOHO
From 2 March, Rita's hosts a new installation by contemporary artist Patrick H. Jones. Known for his observational practice, Jones explores communication, group behaviour and the emotional distance shaped by screens, with figures often separated by barriers and panes. Launching with a private view and ticketed dinner, the exhibition underscores Rita’s ongoing commitment to cultural collaboration, pairing Soho’s artistic energy with its American-leaning, seasonally driven kitchen.

BAR BENFIDDICH AT CHINA TANG
On 4 March, Japan’s Best Bar 2025, Bar Benfiddich, takes over The Bar at China Tang for one night only. Marking Hiroyasu Kayama’s first UK appearance, the evening will feature a dedicated six-cocktail menu blending his craft-led, seasonal precision with creations from the China Tang team. Currently ranked No.18 in The World’s 50 Best Bars, Benfiddich’s arrival is one for serious cocktail enthusiasts.

LYANESS x BIBI COLLABORATION
From 9–13 March, Lyaness partners with BiBi for a week-long menu celebrating South Asian ingredients and the dialogue between food and drink. Created by Ryan Chetiyawardana and Chet Sharma, the residency pairs BiBi’s modern Indian dishes with cocktails built around shared spice profiles and provenance. A launch-day panel discussion on flavour and origin sets the tone for a collaboration rooted in long-standing creative alignment.

BRITISH PIE WEEK AT THE CAMBERWELL ARMS
On 5 March, The Camberwell Arms marks British Pie Week with a one-night-only Pie Night dinner. Expect Dayboat Fish Pie, Sladesdown Chicken with hedgerow mushrooms and Tamworth ham hock, and the pub’s signature Hereford Beef, Guinness & Bone Marrow Pie in suet crust. Each course is paired with wines from the pub’s natural-leaning list, reinforcing its ethos of comfort, generosity and thoughtful sourcing.

BIBI & FRIENDS: CHET SHARMA x MITSUNOBU NAGAE
Also on 5 March, Chet Sharma welcomes Chef Mitsunobu Nagae of Michelin-starred l'abeille to BiBi for the latest BiBi & Friends dinner. Blending Indian heat with French-Japanese precision, the £195 menu includes dishes such as Ajwaini Scallop and Lamb Barra Kebab alongside Charcoal Grilled Turbot with smoked soy and black truffle. Sponsored by Krug, the evening marks Nagae’s first time cooking in London.

HOTEL INDIGO LONDON K WEST SHEPHERD’S BUSH

Housed in the former BBC Kensington House studios, the reimagined property blends reclaimed materials with curated artwork and champions local breweries and producers. With co-working spaces, all-day restaurant Flock and a forthcoming spa concept, it signals a new chapter for Shepherd’s Bush.

NEW BAR LAUNCH | FLIPDOG, OLD STREET
Shoreditch’s Imperial Hall welcomes FlipDog, a two‑storey cocktail bar from Ukrainian founders Artem Skapenko and Alex Kostenyuk. Designed by YOD Group, the space pairs industrial edge with immersive detailing across an intimate ground-floor highball bar and a technique-driven basement cocktail lounge. Expect inventive drinks by Head Bartender Igor Brovko — including the signature 1200°C Loggerhead cocktails — alongside bold, shareable dishes by Chef Anton Vasyliev, from Chicken Katsu Sandwiches to Matcha Trifle.

ROCKFISH SIDMOUTH
Sustainable seafood group Rockfish Sidmouth opens on 17 March inside the historic Drill Hall at Port Royal. Founder Mitch Tonks’ eleventh South West site will serve a daily changing, MSC-certified menu shaped by that morning’s landings at Brixham Market. With an 88-cover dining room and seafront terrace, it continues Tonks’ long-standing mission to champion British fishing communities.

KIYORI BAR, MARYLEBONE
Newly opened beneath Aki London in the original Cavendish Square vaults, Kiyori Bar introduces a late-night Japanese-inspired cocktail address to W1. Designed by AD100’s Francis Sultana, the underground space pairs gilded ceilings and a former strongroom dancefloor with a regionally influenced drinks list and weekend DJs. With a 2am licence, it fills a notable after-hours gap between Soho and Mayfair.

BAUJI, WORTHING
Opening 25 March, BAUJI is the latest project from Chef Dayashankar Sharma of Michelin Guide-listed Heritage Dulwich. Just moments from the seafront, the restaurant focuses on Indian comfort food rooted in Sharma’s childhood in Rajasthan, bringing bold, nostalgic flavours to the Sussex coast.
