For autumn 2018, Versace has the mission of helping men bring out their wild side.
The collection was full of house codes, iconic logos and prints that anyone that is familiar with the brand will recognise. The challenge was to reinterpret these codes, first imagined in the 80s’ and to make them appealing to younger eyes and different subcultures. The catwalk show was teeming with pieces that celebrate the art of the individual and is made firmly with those that want all eyes on them.
Versace were able to look to the highly celebrated home collection as a source of inspiration. Pure anarchy is the scene that we imagine at casa Versace, where accessories are crafted from lush interior elements with heritage velvet prints on bags to recall velvet drapes and curtains. Retro Medusa logos even appear on headphones and phone covers.
