Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025: A Lineup That Defines the Moment

With an eclectic lineup that captures the essence of the global music scene, Primavera Sound Barcelona returns in 2025 for its 23rd edition. Set from June 5–7 at the Parc del Fòrum, the festival is headlined by three powerhouses in pop: Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter. This trio of trailblazers, each uniquely emblematic of today’s pop zeitgeist, marks a milestone for Primavera, blending mainstream appeal with the festival’s commitment to artistic diversity.

Joining them are other headliners who bring a wide spectrum of genres and styles to the mix. LCD Soundsystem will return, performing with the same urgency that made their 2007 track "All My Friends" an anthem for the ages. FKA Twigs, HAIM, and Jamie xx each bring fresh perspectives in electronic and indie pop, while Fontaines D.C. and IDLES promise energetic, rebellious rock performances. Dream pop pioneers Beach House, Clairo, and Sturgill Simpson add to a lineup crafted to deliver depth and contrast across the three-day event.

But Primavera Sound isn’t just about the main days. As in previous years, a week-long program of events throughout Barcelona will bring together artists, fans, and industry insiders, setting the stage for musical discovery. Additional shows are planned for an opening event on June 4 and a closing party on June 8, with day splits and more program details to be announced.

From metal to neoclassical, the lineup includes artists across the entire musical spectrum. Country fans can expect a standout performance from Sturgill Simpson, while tech-house enthusiasts will find Amelie Lens and Paul Kalkbrenner. YOASOBI, the breakout J-pop duo, and French rap phenomenon Zaho de Sagazan reflect Primavera’s global scope, while other acts like Denzel Curry, Stereolab, and Parcels bring their own distinct flavors to the mix.

On the ticket front, early access sales begin October 28 at 10:00 am CET for registered fans. General ticket sales follow on October 29, with full festival tickets priced at €295 and VIP passes at €495 (plus booking fees). This year, Primavera has teamed up with global financial app Revolut to offer a 10% discount on all festival and Primavera Tour tickets for Barcelona, Porto, and additional tours across Spain. Revolut will also enhance the experience with exclusive perks for attendees throughout the year.
