New & Lingwood’s SS25 Collection Leans Into Refined Ease

3 min read

New & Lingwood has always straddled the line between tradition and quiet modernity. For Spring Summer 2025, the British menswear house reinforces its place in that sweet spot with a collection built around summer tailoring, unstructured refinement and timeless outerwear.

At the core is linen—crisp, breathable, and offered here in signature New & Lingwood colourways like rust, soft green, and a deep navy that leans classic but doesn’t feel rigid. The single-breasted jackets are softly deconstructed, cut with ease, and paired with relaxed trousers and tonal shirting for a head-to-toe uniform that reads elegant but unstuffy.

Outerwear sees a standout in the Brown Suede Jacket. Inspired by military aviation gear, it’s crafted in Italy from superfine suede with subtle detailing: two box-pleat flap pockets, a zip closure, and adjustable cuffs and hem. It’s functional, sure, but still polished—an ideal bridge between off-duty tailoring and weekender cool.

Elsewhere, New & Lingwood’s lightweight knitwear takes a turn in a sporty direction. The Stripe Knitted Polo comes in navy and cream lambswool and plays up its vintage rugby vibe without leaning costume. It’s a nod to heritage, but fully wearable right now—styled solo or beneath a jacket.

No New & Lingwood collection would be complete without a statement wrap coat. This season’s edition is made from Donegal wool by Magee, woven in earthy neutrals and flecked tones. With its loose, belted silhouette and natural drape, it offers as much visual impact as it does comfort.

Altogether, this is a wardrobe built for warm-weather transitions—relaxed but elevated, just as you’d expect from one of Jermyn Street’s most established names.
