Leica release new SL3 camera

Leica Camera has just launched the long-awaited mirrorless, full-frame SL3; an update to their already impressive SL2 model.

The new SL3 has various notable internal upgrades including a BSI CMOS full-frame sensor with triple resolution technology, an expanded ISO range from 50 to 100,000, the inclusion of phase detection, depth mapping and contrast recognition, and the ability to record video in 8K thanks to the new Maestro-IV processor with L² technology. There have also been numerous, significant changes such as the menu and function buttons have been moved to the right-hand side, all customisable with a new streamlined icon and menu design. The introduction of the tiltable screen has also not affected the robustness of the camera.

From £5,920 and available now at Leica.
