Swedish fashion house Filippa K has just launched its campaign for autumn/ winter 2021. What Lies Within is a return to the brand’s core values of simplicity and confidence, which is most welcome after the uncertainty of the last year. 

The men’s collection is full of pieces that epitomise minimalism, imperfections and self expression with a hand-stitched cashmere coat, flannel suiting, and a chunky wool fisherman’s knit.

Starring in the campaign is Kai Isaiah Jamal, the poet, writer, activist, and model. Kai’s approach to life and art echoes the values of the collection, which Kai interprets through a poetic expression entitled “What Lies Within”. The poem describes the power that clothing has to define us: the simplest details can hold the memories that make up who we are, and give us the confidence to be our authentic selves. Kai also appears throughout the campaign modelling the menswear and womenswear collections.
