Diesel pre fall 2020
If you are bored of wearing old shorts and T-shirts, then the new pre-fall collection from Diesel could not have come at a better time.
The new range has everything that you have come to expect from Diesel - a laid back attitude, a sense of effortless cool and an aesthetic that combines subcultures of the Nineties, sporting elements and a nod to nightlife.
Pieces are bold, funky and irreverent. Like all good menswear, it doesn’t take itself too seriously and is easy to wear - largely black and white with pops of acid yellow, pink, green and electric blue. Gritty and retro, the starting point for the collection was a crime drama from 1986 River’s Edge (an early Keanu Reeves) in which workwear forms a huge part of the wardrobe. It’s a backbone of this collection too, updated for 2020 by combining nostalgic elements with newness like tribal tattoo motifs, shirts and jackets with distorted logos, dyed knits and pieces that are almost entirely made from reconstructed denim.
