Daniel Simmons SS25: Transitional Menswear Refined

2 min read

Daniel Simmons isn’t trying to reinvent summer menswear—he’s refining it. Dropping 24th April, the label’s SS25 Collection picks up where previous seasons left off: focusing on wearable sophistication with a quiet kind of confidence. It’s minimal, functional, and built for movement—exactly what you want from transitional dressing.

This time, it’s less about seasonal reinvention and more about refinement. Think precision-cut trousers, relaxed knitwear, and lightweight layers that don’t shout but speak volumes. There’s an awareness to Simmons’ approach, one that blends smart tailoring with casual utility, without veering into either extreme.

Highlights include the Pelosa Knit Long Sleeve, available in four tones—Black, Burgundy, Dark Olive, and Ivory. Subtle in structure but rich in texture, it’s a prime example of Simmons’ commitment to modern, low-key luxury. Then there’s the Colorado Trousers, offered in both Pin Tuck and Nylon finishes. Slim, tailored, and modernised for movement, they arrive in a classic Black and a muted Platinum Black, proving that tonal dressing is still very much the move.

Utility makes an appearance too. The Lightweight Cargo Pants come in Black and Moss Green, with a painted variant of the latter for those who want texture without excess. The Soft Handle Pleated Trousers deliver a smart counterpoint, cut in crease-resistant Charcoal Grey and Deep Navy. Ideal for city commuting or dressing up without the drama.

The collection also revisits Simmons’ fleeceback essentials—Hoodies and Sweatpants in colours like Bellwether Blue, Coffee Brown, and Mountain Green. Tonal but elevated, they’re crafted for comfort without sacrificing silhouette.

Everything in the range is designed with purpose. Premium fabrics are sourced globally, with much of the production remaining proudly UK-based and finished in Portugal. It’s a line-up that values form and fabric equally, avoiding flash in favour of finesse.

Old favourites return, too. The Colorado Jacket, Forest Pleated Trousers, and a strong edit of Box Fit and Essential Teesground the drop in wardrobe consistency.

The first SS25 release lands 24 April at danielsimmons.co and if the past collections are anything to go by, it won’t sit for long. This is summerwear built for everyday elevation—and like the best menswear, it doesn’t need to try hard to impress.
