CDLP Collaborates with Hotel Passalacqua
Swedish label CDLP has announced its latest collaboration—this time with the lakeside jewel of Italian hospitality, Hotel Passalacqua. The result? A limited capsule collection built entirely around the idea of dolce far niente. That unmistakably Italian talent for looking immaculate while doing nothing at all.
Nestled above Lake Como’s shores and known as the “World’s Best Hotel” in 2023, Passalacqua is a sanctuary of stillness and slow pleasure. CDLP, known for its elevated take on everyday essentials, has translated that mood into a tightly edited selection of menswear for the most stylish kind of leisure: tailored swimwear, languid poolside sets, relaxed tees and a hand-drawn silk scarf made, fittingly, in Como.
The collection is infused with a sense of sun-faded nostalgia, drawing visual cues from 1930s travel posters and vintage Italian ephemera. The pieces—cut with CDLP’s signature precision—are crafted to capture the feeling of early morning light drifting through shutters or a Campari-laced afternoon in the shade.
As far as summer uniforms go, this is about as refined as it gets. Each piece in the capsule is designed for mornings that turn into lunches, lunches that turn into long walks, and long walks that drift into candlelit dinners. Think less itinerary, more instinct.
Available in limited quantities now, the CDLP x Passalacqua collection will be sold exclusively at the hotel, via senseoflake.com, and at cdlp.com.
