Showcasing just why they are the leading service broadcaster in the world, the BBC has launched a new Culture in Quarantine feature, an evolving and virtual festival that gives incredible access to the arts via museums, galleries, exhibition spaces and theatre productions that are currently closed to the public due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Offering wide-ranging content across the art world, classical music, novel writing and more, highlights of the new scheme includes nine of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s greatest productions (all of the classic including Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet), radio shows that give budding writers tips on how to master that awkward first novel and a superb four part series called Museums in Quarantine that explores national collections, including the Andy Warhol exhibit at the Tate Modern that opened just a few days before the museum went into lockdown in March.
