Swedish apparel brand ASKET today rolls out their latest initiative; The Impact Receipt. The purpose of which is to shift customers’ relationship to clothing from transactional to meaningful, in an effort to curb modern consumption habits. 

To illustrate the power of this Impact Receipt we have taken the example of the classic sweatshirt.  All ASKET customers will receive two receipts; the regular transactional receipt as well as their Impact Receipt, which serves up the exact metrics of impact associated with every garment purchased, including water used, CO2 emitted and energy used. So beyond a financial outlay, every ASKET customer will be able to see the associated environmental cost of their purchasing decisions.
