The Londoner’s Martini & Fries Moment Is Fashion Week’s Smartest Pit Stop

London Fashion Week thrives on tight schedules, sharp tailoring and sharper drinks. Enter The Londoner, which this season cuts through the chaos with a simple proposition at its Mediterranean restaurant, Whitcomb’s: Martinis & Fries.

Available daily from 5–7pm and priced at £14, the new early-evening menu lands on 16th February as a considered response to one of the week’s most talked-about food trends — the so-called “adult meal deal”. It’s direct, it’s timely and, crucially, it understands its audience. Between shows, appointments and after-parties, menswear insiders want efficiency without sacrificing taste.

Five pairings anchor the menu, spanning classic builds and contemporary riffs.

Slick Chick leans indulgent: Belvedere vodka, redistilled Champagne and yuzu caviar, served alongside chicken butter fries finished with crispy flakes. It’s rich, unapologetic and engineered for impact.

Night Out sharpens things up. Four Pillars Pinot Noir gin meets Martini Riserva Ambrato and frozen grape, paired with beer-battered fries and curry sauce — a nod to late-night London, reframed.

The Zest keeps it clean: citrus-infused Belvedere, Noilly Prat and candied orange, backed by truffle and parmesan fries. It’s the polished option — minimal, precise, effective.

For those who prefer edge, Smokin’ Hot brings mezcal fat-washed with ’nduja and Frank’s Hot Sauce, matched with loaded cheese and ’nduja fries. It’s bold but controlled — much like the best street-style looks outside the shows.

Finally, Classic Twist delivers Bombay Sapphire, Cocchi Americano and lemon jelly with sea salt fries and ketchup. No theatrics. Just execution.

Set in the heart of Leicester Square, The Londoner positions itself as a central base during Fashion Week — a reliable meeting point within easy reach of key venues.
