Small Pans, Sharp Design: Our Place Shrinks Its Bestsellers
There is a certain confidence in designing cookware for one. Not performative dinner-party cookware. Not oversized casserole dishes that spend most of the year in storage. Just well-made pieces for the kind of cooking most people actually do on a Tuesday night.
That is the thinking behind the new Tiny Collection from Our Place, which introduces scaled-down versions of the brand’s bestselling Always Pan and Perfect Pot. The launch includes the Tiny Cookware Duo (£110) and Petite Perfect Pot (£90), both designed for smaller portions, tighter kitchens, and increasingly solo routines.
The appeal is practical rather than novelty. The Tiny Cookware Duo arrives as a compact stackable set with a shared lid, while the Petite Perfect Pot is sized for grains, soups, sauces or late-night comfort food without committing to a full-sized pan. For men living in city flats, cooking between meetings, or simply trying to avoid unnecessary washing-up, the format makes sense.
Each piece uses an aluminium core for fast, even heating and is finished with the brand’s signature non-toxic nonstick coating, free from PFAS, PTFE, lead and cadmium. Details like dual pour spouts and lightweight construction keep things functional, while the colour palette ensures they still look considered sitting on the hob.
Importantly, the collection avoids the trap of becoming “mini cookware” for the sake of aesthetics. This is cookware designed around how modern kitchens operate now: less excess, less space, fewer people at the table, but no compromise on design.
Available in five signature colourways, the Tiny Collection is being released in limited quantities, making this very much a buy-it-before-it-disappears situation.
