Huntsman and Truefitt & Hill Put Savile Row in a Bottle

There are few addresses in London more closely associated with  the rakish gent than Savile Row and St. James’s Street. Now, two of their most established residents, Huntsman and Truefitt & Hill, have joined forces on a fragrance that brings their respective worlds of tailoring and grooming together.

The Huntsman Cologne draws on almost four centuries of combined British craftsmanship, taking inspiration from the atmosphere of Huntsman’s Savile Row flagship. Formulated by Truefitt & Hill, the fragrance approaches scent with much the same attention to detail as a bespoke suit: considered in its construction, with every element contributing to the finished composition.

The opening brings together bergamot, cardamom, pink pepper, saffron, lemon and elemi, delivering a fresh, spiced introduction. At its heart, damask rose and tobacco absolute are paired with violet leaf and petitgrain, introducing a floral and smoky contrast. The dry-down moves into warmer territory, with vanilla pod, guaiac wood, tonka bean and cedarwood completing the composition.

The resulting olfactive profile sits somewhere between floral, tobacco, amber and woods, avoiding the obvious route of a traditional masculine cologne. It is also a fitting collaboration between two houses whose approach to dressing and personal presentation has always favoured precision over excess.

Available from October 2026, The Huntsman Cologne comes as a 100ml Eau de Cologne, priced at £130. It can be purchased in-store and online from Huntsman on Savile Row and Truefitt & Hill in Mayfair.
