MATCHES FASHION LAUNCHES RAEY
Luxury retailer Matches Fashion have just launched an exclusive collection full of all of the core wardrobe staples that you have spent years searching for and have never been able to find.
Headed by Creative Director Rachael Proud (previously of Christopher Kane and Topshop) the pieces were inspired by “the good looking man that you spy at the pub”. This random man has a perfectly edited wardrobe full of hero pieces. They are design classics that you can wear anywhere and are not season specific – slouchy sweatshirts; cashmere track pants and a grey suede bomber are just some of the standout pieces. As with much of what we have seen this season, sportswear has clearly been a big influence but these pieces are more luxury staples that are easy to wear as opposed to pieces that you would work out in.
For those that are looking for more tailored wardrobe essentials, Raey has those too with pinstripe chinos (a great variation on the classic), fitted knitwear and a great selection of slimming outerwear all appearing in the collection. Luxury wool, cashmere and jacquard elevate these pieces into more refined and clean that you have seen elsewhere.
